The Jerusalem Studio School is pleased to announce the opening of “The Visual Moment,” an exhibition by renowned artist Stuart Shils on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 8 pm in the JSS Gallery. The exhibition consists of 40 works on paper in graphite, ink, gouache, monotype and oil pastel. Please join us at the JSS for a rare, in-depth look into his artistic process.

This exhibition of works on paper complements handsomely Shils’ solo exhibition of paintings at Rothschild Fine Art in Tel Aviv on March 4, 2010.

The Jerusalem Studio School is pleased to announce the 4th installment of “Drawing Notes”, an event that has become a tradition. The Master Class studio opens its doors to the public for a unique artistic melding: various musicians perform a live rehearsal while artists from the public are welcome to pull up a chair and easel and sketch. On the schedule is a duo of a Flamenco dancer and guitarist, a Jerusalem folk quartet called Dolly & the Cowboys, and a jazz trio.

“Drawing Notes” will take place on Sunday, December 13th 2009 from 6 to 10 pm. Registration and a small fee are required, as spaces are limited.
